What kind of game is it?

It is being developed for PC Epic Game Store and Steam.
What makes Prophecies of The Ancient Realms different from all the other RPGs out there?
Have you noticed that a lot of RPGs seem to be the same game with different graphics and a slightly different story? We have. Have you played them anyway because you love RPGs? Most of us have.
This game is a homage to RPGs. It's a way of thanking them (and their creators) for all the fun over the years and taking you, the player, on a different journey this time. To explore the potential of role-playing games and to, possibly, introduce someone new to the genre.
We are hoping to surprise you as well. And make you laugh. We want you to explore "our world" and discover its secrets, without us having to hold your hand (but we can if you want, but that may cost extra)
We want you to have your own personal journey. You will have many classes and races to choose from (so many choices...) It's your story and you are in control of your destiny.
What game engine does Prophecies of The Ancient Realms run on?
Unreal Engine 4 with 96% Marketplace assets. There are a lot of great artists out there and we felt like showing them to you.
Why should we play this game?
Because it's awesome. And would 3 dragons ever lie to you? We don't think so.
Do you have a release date yet?
No, not right now, but we working really hard to have one soon.
Is it online?
No, it's more of a old school RPG - one you can play when the internet is down, but you still have power. It's an offline video game.
Will there be multiplayer or co-op?
No, but we can work on it after our first release.
Are there MTX, DLC or other paid elements in the game?
No, there won’t be any microtransactions in the game. Everything is included.
What kind of game structure is it? How is it broken up? Is it mostly linear? Is it semi-open? Open world? Story-driven? Chapter-based?
It's not open world but you can go to a lot of different places from the start - and explore. It's really not linear; you go where you want and do what you like - at your own perils. We are not holding your hand. You will have to be logical and find your way - but there are a lot of SECRETS... You won't find them all - or will you? *Challenge Accepted* Are we giving away a prize to the player who find them all? Maybe... How about whoever find them all gets a code? You send us an email with that code and we will send you a special surprise.
